Meg Turner was born in 1985 in Switzerland and grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts. She received her BFA in 2008 from The Rhode Island School of Design and moved to Louisiana in 2009 to found and direct the New Orleans Community Printshop. in 2011 Meg began to works as a Master Printer for Josephine Sacabo and Luna Press. She prints her photographs as large-scale polymer photogravure prints; showing multiple times annually and her work is exhibited and collected internationally. in 2016 Meg moved to New York to pursue her MFA at Columbia University, graduating in 2018. She believes wholeheartedly in the continued relevance of hand printing, and the importance of knowing and sharing access to the means of disseminating images.
